Enclave Partners with Lend a Hand Up to Help Neighbors in Need
Lend A Hand Up, Enclave and KVLY have formed a collaborative partnership to magnify awareness and increase help for neighbors experiencing hardship through a unique Neighbors Helping Neighbors campaign that will air weekly on North Dakota Today as well as KVLY and KXJB news programs throughout the day Thursdays and Friday mornings.
A subsidiary non-profit of Dakota Medical Foundation, Lend A Hand Up launched in 2008 to help families enduring medical crisis by creating awareness and support through a crowdfunding and silent auction platform by which 100% of the gifts go back to families. What’s more is that through the support of individuals, businesses and organizations, Lend A Hand Up increases the value of all gifts with a 20% boost, up to $5,000, to multiply the impact. Since 2008, Lend A Hand Up has raised more than $21 million to help 625 families.
A supporter of the Lend A Hand Up mission, the Neighbors Helping Neighbors program offers a new way for Enclave to partner with the Lend A Hand Up team to create collaborative goodwill for local families in need through expanded awareness.
“Enclave is committed to creating spaces where our partners, communities and team members thrive. We believe strongly in giving back to the communities that support us to create better neighbors, becoming better neighbors ourselves,” said Eric Christianson, COO of Enclave. “The Neighbors Helping Neighbors program is one way we can create space for good, to build awareness and support for community members who could use a hand up.”
Enclave COO, Eric Christianson, joined Lend A Hand Up Director, Jeana Peinovich to kick-off the partnership on North Dakota today on Wednesday, October 5. The spotlight series will start on October 6 and features Whitney Anderson, a wife, mother to two, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and nurse for more than 19 years who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. “The collaboration with Enclave and North Dakota Today is significant to families like Whitney and the many others who Lend A Hand Up serves,” said Jeana Peinovich, Director of Lend A Hand Up. “The ability to share these stories allows us to multiply the ability to call on our community members to offer support, whether it be in the form of volunteerism, words of encouragement, attendance at a local benefit or online gift. We’re extremely grateful to Enclave for their generous support and partnership to uplift our neighbors through a time of crisis.”
